Terri Nimchuk

Terri has been working with diverse populations and supporting clients with varying presenting issues ranging from anxiety, depression, and her earlier work with ADD/ADHD, ASD, to her current specialized work with Veterans with PTSD/PTSI, advocacy and transition to civilian life. Terri works one-on-one and in groups settings. She practices from evidence-based modalities such as CPT, CBT, Bio-Feedback, mindfulness, equine-facilitated psychotherapy, and solution-focused interventions among others.

Terri believes in a cooperative therapeutic approach and works with clients and their existing care teams to help them design and achieve their therapeutic goals. She combines modalities and offers a unique counselling style that has been found by clients to be highly effective.
